In early October 2023, law enforcement discovered 190 bodies improperly stored at the Return to Nature Funeral Home in Penrose, CO.
These bodies were not left by their families. Each of us thought we were carrying our loved ones' remains.
Some of us were given concrete. Some of us have been carrying human remains - just not our humans'.
This site is in place to document the crimes of Return to Nature, humanize the victims, and support the families who have been impacted.
